Small Capital Campaign:

• Replace antiquated (30-year-old) telephone system
• Photocopier presently reads 5000+ copies, and is essential to the Public Education Program
• Upgrade computer technology
• DVD video (creating/burning/editing) media software
• Fund Management System allowing the Centre access to the most current funding sources

Practival Assistance:

• Funds to offer Group Workshops (ie. Survivor Group, Mom's of Survivors, etc.)
• Gift certificates for grocery store enabling us to provide healty group snacks (ie. cheese, fruit, etc.)
• Self-care items for clients (ie. bath products, anti-stress aromatherapy, lotions, etc.)
• Journals for clients (often used in counselling and group sessions)
• Funds to provide the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) program and Youth Issues Program
• Funds to provide the High School Program in partnership with Sgt. Paul Beven, NRP Sexual Assault Unit
• Resource material needed for school programs
• Educational materials/books for client/staff
• Funds for child care, and transportation enabling women to attend counselling sessions
• A coffee card to buy coffee for clients during hospital stay and sexual assault examination
• Gift certificates for women in dire need of basic necessities (ie. Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, etc.)
• Therapeutic CD's and books for clients and counsellors
• Kleenex

As we are not a housing shelter, we are unable to accept donations of clothing or used furniture. Please contact the Shelter in your community or Information Niagara #211.
