A 12-week therapy group for women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or sexual assault will be offered in St. Catharines. This group will acknowledge and address the impact of this form of violence on women.
Date: September 27th– December 13th, 2011
Day and Time:Tuesdays from 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Location: St. Catharines
No cost
It will explore relevant areas of concern such as:
-Establishing safety through self-care and coping.
-Identifying triggers and managing flashbacks.
-Strengthening boundaries and self-trust.
-Enhancing self-esteem.
This confidential group will speak to the feelings of isolation, despair and fear, and strengthen bonds of connection and hope.
