IF YOU HAVE JUST BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED
From this moment on you have choices:
The Niagara Region Sexual Assault Centre, Carsa Inc., provides services in a safe and comfortable environment for survivors of child sexual abuse, incest and adult sexual assault.
We offer a 24 hour crisis line, emergency services, individual and group counselling, accompaniment and advocacy through medical and legal proceedings, public education programs and community events.
ALL SERVICES ARE FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL
We are a non-profit, community based organization providing unconditional and nonjudgmental support and empowerment to those who have survived any form of sexual violence.
We believe that any form of sexual abuse is an abuse of power and control and is an act of aggression and violence over an individual. If you or someone you know is a victim of sexual assault, we can help.
We are a member of Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres and Canadian Association of Sexual Assault Centres.

Dear community supporter:
Due to several key golf tournaments occurring on or near our annual date, we realized a sharp decrease of players, making it necessary to cancel the 16th Tournament of Kindness…for this year only.
There is good news however. In lieu of the Tournament of Kindness, major sponsor Jon Pintwala, Superior Car Wash, has committed to host an event on Saturday, September 7th –“Get your sparkle on for kids”. Jon will donate proceeds from the day’s earnings to help fund the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Program delivered annually to 4,000 elementary students across the Niagara region. We are grateful and touched by the ongoing commitment and support of Superior Car Wash and Jon Pintwala. (Final details will be provided at a later date.)
All registration fees will be returned with our apologies. As well, all sponsors and prize donors will be contacted.
At this time, we are hoping the many friends and supporters of the Tournament of Kindness will help Superior Car Wash in its efforts to raise much- needed funds for the Niagara Region Sexual Assault Centre.
With this in mind, we respectfully request sponsors and prize donors to consider transferring support to this new event. Company and/or personal name (s) will be brightly displayed on signage at the event and included in media coverage.
All funds donated will be applied to the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Program and a tax receipt provided.
Please contact me at the Centre further information or if you have questions.
Thank you for your understanding. We very much hope for your continued commitment to the children of our community.
Warmest regards,
Sharon Pazzaglia-Pintwala
Every day of the year, every hour in the day, every minute of the hour and every second of the minute, somewhere in this world, women – irrespective of race, colour or religion – are being subjected to violence, abuse, neglect or rape. This also includes children.
